The waterfall is part of the state forest and provides a peaceful retreat with its soothing sounds and picturesque scenery.The waterfall descends from a height of eight meters over a rocky cliff, creating a small pond at its base. Visitors can dip their feet in the cool water or explore the surrounding lush vegetation, including plane trees, ivy, pine trees, golden oaks, sumac, strawberry trees, cistus, sage, and lavender. The site also features the remains of an old watermill that operated until the early 20th century, adding a touch of history to the natural beauty. Carved steps on a rock to the right of the waterfall offer further glimpses into the past.Chantara Waterfall is particularly enchanting in the spring when the snow melts and the water flow is strongest. However, it remains a beautiful destination year-round, offering a cool escape in the summer and vibrant foliage in the autumn.
