Getting There

  • Car

    From the main road in the Troodos National Forest Park, follow signs for Madari Circular Trail. The most sensible place to start is at Doxa sio o Theos. Turn onto the F944 in Kyperounta from road 909. After about 2 kilometers, you will reach parking at Doxa sio o Theos. Parking is free. Expect a 20-minute drive from Troodos.

  • Public Transport

    Take a bus to Troodos Square. From Nicosia, Cyprus Public Transport bus 408 goes to Troodos Square on Saturdays and Sundays. It leaves Makario Stadium at 8am, 11am, and 2pm. From Limassol, bus 64 departs from the Germasogeia tourist zone at 9:15 and arrives at Troodos Square at 11:15. From Troodos Square, walk or take a taxi to the Madari Circular Trail. The trailhead is about 5 kilometers from Troodos Square, which is about an hour's walk. A taxi from Troodos Square to the trailhead will cost approximately €10-€20.
