Getting There

• Car

  If you are traveling by car, take the D1 highway towards Prague. Once you reach the center of Prague, follow signs to the New Town (Nové Město). Use GPS coordinates 50.072148, 14.4172742 to navigate directly to Emmaus Monastery located at Vyšehradská 49/320, 128 00 Nové Město. There is limited street parking available near the monastery, so plan to arrive early to secure a spot.

• Public Transportation

  For those using public transport, take a train or bus to Prague. From the main train station (Praha hlavní nádraží), you can catch tram number 3 or 24 towards the 'Náplavka' stop. Get off at the 'Vyšehrad' stop, which is a short walk from the monastery. Head southwest on Vyšehradská street for about 10 minutes until you reach Emmaus Monastery. You will need to purchase a ticket for the tram, which costs around 32 CZK (Czech Koruna) for a 30-minute ride.

• Walking

  If you're staying in the vicinity of the New Town area, you can walk to Emmaus Monastery. From the National Theatre, head southeast on Národní street, then turn left onto Smetanovo nábřeží. Continue until you reach the intersection with Vyšehradská street and turn right. The monastery is located at 49/320 Vyšehradská street, just a few minutes away from here.
