Walking
If you are already in Brno-Stred, the Marian Plague Column is located at nám. Svobody, which is a well-known square in the city center. Start by heading towards the nearest tram or bus stop. If you are near the 'Hlavní nádraží' (Main Train Station), exit the station and walk towards the street called 'Kounicova'. From there, turn left onto 'Masarykova' street and walk straight until you reach the tram stop 'Náměstí Svobody'. Once you arrive at the square, you will see the Marian Plague Column prominently displayed. This walk should take approximately 15-20 minutes.
Tram
You can take tram line 1, 2, or 3 from various parts of Brno-Stred. If you are at the 'Hlavní nádraží' tram stop, board tram line 1 in the direction of 'Bystrc'. After two stops, get off at 'Náměstí Svobody'. The Marian Plague Column will be right in front of you as you exit the tram. The cost for a tram ticket is approximately 25 CZK and it is valid for 60 minutes. Tickets can be purchased from ticket machines located at tram stops or via the DPMB mobile app.
Bus
If you are closer to a bus stop, take bus number 67 or 84 towards 'Náměstí Svobody'. Make sure you check the bus schedule as they run less frequently. After a short ride, disembark at the 'Náměstí Svobody' stop. The Marian Plague Column is just a short walk from the bus stop. The ticket price for the bus is similar to the tram, around 25 CZK, and can be obtained from ticket machines or through the DPMB app.
