Public Transport - Tram
From the center of Brno, you can take tram number 1 or 3 from the 'Hlavní nádraží' (Main Train Station) stop. Board the tram heading towards 'Bystrc' (for tram 1) or 'Zábrdovice' (for tram 3). Get off at the 'Špitálka' stop, which is about a 10-minute ride. From there, it's about a 15-minute walk to Špilberk Castle. Head west along 'Špitálka' street, then turn left onto 'Kounicova' street. Continue straight until you reach the entrance to the castle on 'Špilberk' street.

If you are already in the vicinity of Brno-Stred, you can simply walk to Špilberk Castle. Start from the central square, 'náměstí Svobody', and head southwest towards 'Kleinova' street. Continue walking straight until you reach the base of the hill where the castle is located. There are signs that will guide you up the path leading to the castle entrance. The walk should take approximately 20-25 minutes from the city center.

You can also take bus number 67 from the 'Hlavní nádraží' (Main Train Station) stop. Board the bus heading towards 'Zábrdovice'. Get off at the 'Špilberk' stop. From there, it’s a short 5-minute walk to the castle entrance. Just follow the signs that lead you up the path to the castle.
