From the center of Český Krumlov, head towards the main square (náměstí). Exit the square onto the street called Školní, which will take you directly to the bridge over the Vltava River. Cross the bridge and continue straight onto the main road, Route 39. Follow Route 39 for about 7 km, enjoying the scenic views of the countryside. After approximately 7 km, you will see signs for Vítkův Hrádek (Vítkův Castle). Follow these signs until you reach the castle entrance.
Bicycle

If you prefer biking, rent a bicycle from one of the rental shops in the town center. Start from the main square and head towards Školní street. Follow the same route as mentioned for walking, but keep an eye out for bike paths along Route 39. This will make your ride smoother. Once you reach the signs for Vítkův Hrádek, continue until you reach the entrance of the castle.
