Public Transport
From Hradec Králové, start at the main train station (Hlavní nádraží). Take a train towards Teplice nad Metují. The journey takes approximately 40 minutes. Once you arrive at the Teplice nad Metují train station, exit the station and head towards the bus stop located directly outside. Here, catch bus number 400, which heads towards the village of Střmen. The bus ride will take about 15 minutes. Request to get off at the stop named 'Střmen'. After disembarking, follow the marked hiking trail signs that lead to the castle ruins. The walk from the bus stop to the ruins is approximately 20 minutes, following a scenic path through the woods.

If you prefer to walk from the train station in Teplice nad Metují to Castle ruins Střmen, exit the station and head southwest on Hlavní ulice. Continue straight until you reach the intersection, then turn left onto Na Bělidle. Follow this road until it merges into a forest path leading to the ruins. This route will take about 1 hour, but offers a beautiful view of the surrounding countryside.
