    Start from the city center of Hradec Králové, specifically at the main bus station (Autobusové nádraží Hradec Králové). From there, take bus number 13 towards 'Valbřich'. The journey will take approximately 25 minutes. Get off at the stop 'Hradec Králové, Roudnice'. From this stop, head east on Roudnická street until you reach the intersection with Černilovská street. Turn left onto Černilovská street and continue straight for about 800 meters until you reach the path that leads towards Fort Karola. The fort is situated in Radków, Poland, so ensure you have your travel documents ready. The walk from the bus stop to Fort Karola will take around 15 minutes.

    If you prefer to walk, you can start from the city center of Hradec Králové. Head towards the East on the main boulevard (Havlíčkova) until you reach the train station (Hradec Králové hlavní nádraží). From there, walk to the bus station and catch bus number 13 towards 'Valbřich'. Follow the same instructions as above to get off at 'Hradec Králové, Roudnice' and then walk to Fort Karola.
