If you are driving, start from the nearest major town, which is Szczawno-Zdrój. From Szczawno-Zdrój, take the DK8 road heading towards Kudowa-Zdrój. After approximately 10 km, look for the signs indicating the Stolowe Mountains National Park. Follow the signs for Szczeliniec Mały, which will lead you to a parking lot near the entrance to the park. The coordinates for the parking area are approximately 50.4871, 16.3372. Parking fees may apply, usually around 10 PLN for the day.

To reach Szczeliniec Mały via public transportation, take a bus from Wrocław to Kudowa-Zdrój. The journey takes about 2.5 hours. Once you arrive in Kudowa-Zdrój, you can catch a local bus that takes you to the entrance of the Stolowe Mountains National Park. Check local schedules as they may vary. The bus ride will take approximately 30 minutes. After you get off the bus, follow the marked paths leading to Szczeliniec Mały, which is about a 30-minute hike from the bus stop.

For those already in the Stolowe Mountains and looking to hike to Szczeliniec Mały, you can start from the nearby village of Karłów. From Karłów, follow the blue trail which is well marked and takes approximately 1 hour to reach the summit. The hike offers beautiful views and is suitable for most fitness levels. Make sure to wear appropriate footwear and carry water, as there are no facilities along the trail.
