If you are driving, start from the main road around Máchovo jezero. Follow the signs towards Doksy. Once you reach Doksy, continue on the main road and follow the signs for Staré Splavy. After entering Staré Splavy, look for the street 'Pod Borným' where Karakul Cottages is located. The cottages are at number 263, which will be on your right side. There is parking available near the cottages.

If you prefer public transportation, take a bus from Máchovo jezero to Doksy. Buses run regularly and the journey takes about 15-20 minutes. Once you arrive in Doksy, you will need to transfer to another bus towards Staré Splavy. Get off at the stop 'Staré Splavy, Pod Borným' which is very close to the cottages. From the bus stop, it is a short walk to Karakul Cottages at Pod Borným 263.
