Getting There

• Car

  If you are driving from the center of Máchovo jezero, head south on the main road (Hlavní silnice) towards the town of Doksy. Continue straight for approximately 5 kilometers. As you approach Doksy, follow the signs for Parkoviště - Kemp Borný. The parking area is located just before the entrance to the campsite, on the right side of the road. There is no parking fee, but be mindful of the local traffic rules.

• Public Transportation

  To reach Parkoviště - Kemp Borný via public transport, take a bus from Máchovo jezero towards Doksy. Buses run regularly, and the journey takes around 15-20 minutes. Get off at the Doksy bus station. From there, it’s a short walk (about 1 kilometer) to the campsite. Head east on U Lesa street, then turn left onto Hlavní silnice and continue until you reach the entrance to Parkoviště - Kemp Borný. Ensure you check the bus schedule in advance, and be aware that bus fares typically range from 25 to 50 CZK depending on the route.

• Bicycle

  For those who enjoy cycling, you can rent a bike in Máchovo jezero. Cycle along the scenic paths that lead towards Doksy. The route is bike-friendly and takes you through beautiful forested areas. The distance is approximately 5 kilometers, and should take around 20-30 minutes depending on your speed. Follow signs towards Doksy, and once you reach the town, head towards Hlavní silnice where you will find Parkoviště - Kemp Borný.

• Walking

  If you prefer walking from the center of Máchovo jezero, it is about a 1-hour walk to Parkoviště - Kemp Borný. Start by heading south on Hlavní silnice towards Doksy. This route is approximately 5 kilometers long and will take you through scenic areas. Wear comfortable shoes and be prepared for a pleasant walk surrounded by nature.
