From Máchovo jezero, head south on the main road (E442) towards Doksy. Continue driving for about 10 minutes until you reach the intersection with Route 38. Turn left onto Route 38 and follow the signs for Kokořín. After approximately 15 minutes, you will see signs for the Protected Landscape Area Kokořínsko – Mácha's Region. There are several parking areas available near the entrance.

Public Transportation
From Máchovo jezero, take the local bus line 4 towards Doksy. The bus departs from the main bus stop near the lake. Ride for about 15-20 minutes until you reach the Doksy bus station. From Doksy, transfer to bus line 22, which goes directly to Kokořín. The entire journey should take around 40 minutes. Ensure you check the bus schedule in advance as services may vary, especially on weekends.

If you're near the main access points of Máchovo jezero, you can opt for a scenic walk to the Kokořínsko area. Head towards the east side of the lake and follow the marked hiking trails that lead into the forest. Depending on your pace, this walk can take about 1.5 to 2 hours.
