Car
If you are driving, start from the city of Ústí nad Labem. Take the D8 highway towards Prague for approximately 25 km and then take exit 66 toward Hřensko. Follow the signs for Hřensko and continue on Route 62 for about 18 km until you reach the village of Hřensko. From Hřensko, follow the signs to Pravčická Archway, which is about 5 km away. There is a parking area near the entrance, which may charge a small fee (around 100 CZK) for parking.
Public Transportation
To reach Pravčická Archway by public transport, start by taking a train from Ústí nad Labem to Děčín. Trains run frequently and the journey takes about 30 minutes. Once in Děčín, transfer to a bus heading to Hřensko. The bus ride will take approximately 30 minutes. After arriving in Hřensko, follow the signs or ask locals for directions to Pravčická Archway, which is about a 5 km walk from the bus stop. Be prepared for some uphill walking. Bus tickets can be purchased at the station or on the bus, and prices are usually around 30 CZK.
Hiking
For the more adventurous, consider hiking to Pravčická Archway. Start your hike from Hřensko, which can be reached by car or public transport as described above. The hike takes approximately 1.5 to 2 hours depending on your pace and the route you choose. There are marked trails leading to the archway, with stunning views along the way. Make sure to wear comfortable hiking shoes and carry water, as the path can be steep and rugged.
