Getting There

• Car

  If you are traveling by car, set your GPS to the coordinates 50.572778, 13.465. From the center of Nová Ves v Horách, head towards the road named 'Hranická'. Follow this road until you reach the fork, and take the right path. Continue straight for about 2 kilometers until you see a small parking area on your left. Park your car here and prepare for a short hike to Medvědí skála. The site is just a 15-minute walk from the parking area along a well-marked trail.

• Public Transportation

  To reach Medvědí skála using public transportation, first take a bus to Nová Ves v Horách. From major cities in the Ore Mountains, such as Karlovy Vary or Liberec, you can find direct bus services. Once you arrive at the Nová Ves v Horách bus station, exit the bus and head towards the village center. From there, follow the signs leading to Hranická road. After about a 20-minute walk, you will reach the same parking area mentioned for drivers. From the parking area, it’s a 15-minute hike to Medvědí skála.

• Bike

  For those who prefer biking, you can rent a bicycle in Nová Ves v Horách. Start from the village center and follow the Hranická road, which is suitable for cycling. After about 2 kilometers, you will reach a designated bike parking area near the hiking trail leading to Medvědí skála. Secure your bike and enjoy a 15-minute walk to the peak.
