Getting There

  • Train and Bus

    From Prague, head to the main train station, Hlavní nádraží. You can take Metro Line C (Red Line) from stations like Muzeum or Florenc to Hlavní nádraží. Once at the station, buy a ticket to Mělník. The journey takes about 30 minutes. Upon arrival at Mělník, exit the train station and find the bus stop for Bus 400. Board Bus 400 towards Liběchov and stay on for about 20 minutes. Get off at the Želízy stop. From the bus stop, walk approximately 1 kilometer to reach Devil's Head, following signs or asking locals for directions.

  • Direct Bus

    You can also take a direct bus from Prague to Želízy. Start by heading to the bus station at ÚAN Florenc. Look for buses headed to Mělník or Liběchov. The travel time is around 45 minutes. After arriving in Želízy, Devil's Head is just a short walk from the bus stop, approximately 1 kilometer. Follow the path indicated by local signs or ask for directions if needed.

  • Bicycle

    If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bicycle in Prague. Start from the city center and follow the Vltava River north towards Mělník. The ride is approximately 50 kilometers and offers beautiful scenery. Once you reach Želízy, head towards the Devil's Head landmark, which is located about 1 kilometer from the center of Želízy. There are paths leading up to the site.
