Getting There

  • Public Transport

    If you're starting from Wenceslas Square (Václavské náměstí), walk to the Muzeum metro station (Line A). Take the metro towards Nemocnice Motol and get off at the third stop, Můstek. From there, switch to Line B and head towards Zličín, getting off at the next stop, Národní třída. Exit the station and walk towards the Vltava River. Cross the street and walk straight until you reach the riverbank. You will see a bridge (Jiráskův most) ahead. Cross the bridge, and you will find yourself on Střelecký ostrov, where Park Legií is located.

  • Walking

    If you are near Charles Bridge (Karlův most), head east towards the riverbank. Walk along the river in the direction of the Jiráskův most bridge. Once you reach the bridge, cross it, and continue walking straight on Střelecký ostrov. Park Legií will be on your left as you walk along the island.

  • Tram

    From the Old Town Square (Staroměstské náměstí), walk to the nearby tram stop at Staroměstská. Take tram number 17 towards Nádraží Hostivař and get off at the stop called 'Jiráskův most'. From there, walk across the bridge, and you will find Park Legií on your left as you enter Střelecký ostrov.

  • Bicycle

    If you have rented a bike, start from the Old Town area and head towards the Vltava River. Follow the riverbank south until you reach Jiráskův most. Cross the bridge, and then follow the path that leads you to Střelecký ostrov. Park Legií will be on your left as you cycle along the island.
