To reach Vikštejn Castle via public transport, start from Opava. Take a bus from Opava bus station to Krnov, which takes approximately 30 minutes. From Krnov, transfer to another bus that goes to Radkov; this bus ride takes around 15 minutes. Once in Radkov, the castle is a short, 1 km walk away. Bus fares from Opava to Krnov and Krnov to Radkov typically cost around 30-50 CZK per segment.

If driving from Opava, take road E442 towards Krnov. After about 20 km, exit towards Hranice/Bruntál and merge onto road 11. Continue for approximately 25 km until you reach Radkov-Melč. Follow the signs to Vikštejn Castle, located at 747 84 Radkov-Melč. Free parking is available near the castle. Note that parking might be limited during peak season.
