If you're already in Stožec, marked hiking trails lead towards Deer Hill. The hike is approximately 2-3 km and offers scenic views of the Šumava landscape. Take a bus from a nearby town such as Vimperk or Sušice to Stožec. Check the regional bus schedule as they may not run frequently. From the Stožec bus stop, you can walk or take a taxi to the Deer Hill trailhead, roughly 3 km away. A taxi fare will cost approximately 200-300 CZK.

Set your GPS to the coordinates 48.8336021, 13.8544286. From the main roads, head towards Stožec. As you approach Stožec, look for signs indicating Deer Hill (Jelení vrch). Ample parking is available near the trailhead. Parking is free.
