The Hradlový Most - Rechle is a unique wooden bridge near Vydří-Kašperské Hory, Czech Republic. Originally built in the late 18th century as part of the Vchynicko-Tetovský Canal, it served to divert timber into a man-made waterway for transport to Prague. Walking
Hradlový Most - Rechle is accessible via well-maintained trails in Šumava National Park. From the parking area near the bridge, explore the marked paths along the Vydra River and the Vchynicko-Tetovský Canal. The area is relatively flat, making for easy walking. To reach Hradlový Most - Rechle via public transport, take a bus from Kašperské Hory to Vydří. Buses may have limited schedules, so check in advance. From the Vydří bus stop, it's approximately a 1 km walk to the bridge following road signs. A single bus fare from Kašperské Hory to Vydří costs approximately 20-40 CZK.
Car
If driving, approach Hradlový Most - Rechle on Route 145 towards Vydří. Follow signs for Hradlový Most. Parking is available near the bridge, but space may be limited, especially during peak season. Parking fees, if applicable, are typically a small fee. From Kašperské Hory, drive approximately 6 km southeast on Route 145, then turn left onto a smaller road leading to the bridge.
