Car
If you are traveling by car, start your journey from the center of Šumava. Use local roads to reach the D3 highway. Follow signs toward České Budějovice and take exit 14 toward Netolice. Continue on the road for approximately 10 km until you see signs for Kratochvíle state chateau. The chateau is located at Petrův Dvůr 9, 384 11 Netolice. There is a large parking area with an asphalt surface 200m from the entrance gate. Parking fee is 40 CZK for cars.
Public Transport
To reach Kratochvíle state chateau using public transportation, take a bus from a nearby town, such as Vimperk or Český Krumlov. Check the local bus schedules for routes heading toward Netolice. Once you arrive at the Netolice bus station, you can either walk the remaining 3 km to the chateau or take a local taxi to your destination. The taxi fare should be around 100 CZK.
