Getting There

  • Public Transport

    From Prague, take a bus to Strakonice, then transfer to a local bus that goes directly to Zadov. Alternatively, take a train to Vimperk and then a bus to Zadov. Bus tickets from Strakonice to Zadov cost approximately 50-80 CZK. Train tickets from Prague to Vimperk vary depending on the train type, but expect to pay around 200-350 CZK. The bus from Vimperk to Zadov is around 30-50 CZK.

  • Driving

    From Prague, take the D4 highway south towards Strakonice, then follow road 145 to Zadov. The drive is approximately 150 km and takes about 2-2.5 hours. Parking is available at the ski area. Parking is free at the lower station of the cable car. Be aware that during peak season, parking can be limited.
