    The Dinker-Irvin Museum is located at 318 Garfield Parkway, across from Central Park in Bethany Beach. If you are already in the downtown area, the museum is easily accessible on foot. From the intersection of Garfield Parkway and Atlantic Avenue, walk west on Garfield Parkway for a few blocks. The museum will be on your left, across from Central Park. There is no fee to enter the museum.

    The Bethany Beach Trolley provides free transportation around the town. Check the trolley route map to see if there is a stop near your location. If so, ride the trolley to the stop closest to Garfield Parkway and Central Park. From there, walk across the parkway to the museum. The trolley operates from Memorial Day through mid-September.

  • Parking

    If driving, be aware that parking in Bethany Beach can be limited, especially during the summer months. All public parking spaces in Bethany Beach are pay-to-park from May 15 through September 15. As of July 2025, the rate is $4.00 per hour. You can pay at the pay stations located throughout the town using credit cards or quarters. Daily and weekly parking permits are available for purchase online, but these are not valid on Garfield Parkway. Limited 15-minute free parking spots are available for quick errands.
