Parking is available throughout the park, but can be limited during peak season. Park entrance fees apply: $5/day for Delaware vehicles, $10/day for out-of-state vehicles.

The Cape May-Lewes Ferry connects Lewes, DE, with Cape May, NJ. From the ferry terminal, Cape Henlopen State Park is a short drive or bike ride away. Alternatively, you can utilize local taxi or ride-sharing services to reach the park entrance. The Cape May-Lewes Ferry offers vehicle, bicycle, and foot passage. Ferry tickets cost around $10 for foot passengers.

From the town of Lewes, access the park via the Junction and Breakwater Trail. This scenic trail connects Lewes to Rehoboth and other coastal areas, passing through Cape Henlopen State Park. Once inside the park, follow the various walking trails to reach specific attractions. Note that the distance from Lewes to the main areas of the park is considerable, so plan accordingly.
