Discover more about Chaddsford Winery

Chaddsford Winery, established in 1982, is a cornerstone of Pennsylvania's wine scene, producing approximately 24,000 cases annually. Located in a beautifully restored 18th-century dairy barn in the Brandywine Valley, the winery offers a unique blend of history and viticulture. The winery's iconic farmhouse and bank barn reflect the region's rich agricultural heritage. While the grapes are sourced from regional vineyards, the entire winemaking process, including pressing, fermenting, aging, and bottling, occurs on-site within the stone walls of the cellar. Chaddsford Winery is known for its approachable, food-friendly wines that appeal to a wide range of tastes. Their portfolio includes dry, sweet, and sparkling wines, all vegan and gluten-free. The winery also hosts seasonal events, tastings, and festivals throughout the year, fostering a sense of community among wine enthusiasts. Visitors can take self-guided tours to learn about the winemaking process or participate in reserve tastings for a more in-depth experience. In September 2024, the winery was acquired by the Vinton family, owners of White Horse Winery in New Jersey. This acquisition promises to build upon Chaddsford's legacy with innovation and a continued commitment to the Brandywine community. Chaddsford Winery remains dedicated to approachability, community, and sustainability, using regionally grown grapes and eco-friendly production practices.
