    From Brandywine Creek State Park, start by exiting the park and heading west on US-202 S towards I-95 N. Merge onto I-95 N. Continue for about 6 miles until you reach the exit for DE-273 E toward New Castle. Follow DE-273 E for about 2 miles. Turn right on US-9 S, then take another right onto The Strand. The Read House & Gardens will be on your right at 42 The Strand, New Castle, DE 19720. There is parking available on-site, and be mindful that some street parking may require payment.
