    The Lewes History Museum is located at 101 Adams Avenue in downtown Lewes. From the intersection of Savannah Road and Second Street, head northeast on Second Street, then turn right onto Adams Avenue. The museum will be on your right. The walk is approximately 5 minutes.

  • Public Transport

    DART First State Bus Route 204 serves Lewes. From the Lewes Transit Center, transfer to the Lewes Line, a seasonal transit program, and disembark at the Zwaanendael Museum stop along Savannah Road. From there, walk along Savannah Road, then turn right onto Adams Avenue. The museum will be on your right. A one-way cash fare on DART is $2.

  • Driving

    From Cape Henlopen State Park, exit the park and head west on Cape Henlopen Drive. Continue straight as it becomes Gills Neck Road. After about 2 miles, turn right onto Kings Highway (DE-1). Follow this road for approximately 1 mile, and then take a left onto Adams Avenue. The Lewes History Museum will be on your right at 101 Adams Ave, Lewes, DE 19958. Parking is available nearby. Metered parking in downtown Lewes costs $1.50 per hour.
