Walking
From within Cape Henlopen State Park, walk east on Cape Henlopen Drive towards Ocean Drive, approximately a 15-20 minute walk. Turn right onto Ocean Drive and continue until you see the signs for Queen Anne Pier. The total walking distance is about 1.5 miles. There are no fees associated with walking to the pier.
Car
From the main entrance of Cape Henlopen State Park, head east on Cape Henlopen Drive. Continue to the intersection with Ocean Drive and turn right. Follow Ocean Drive as it curves around the park. After about 2 miles, look for signs for Queen Anne Pier and the parking area. Parking is free, but check for seasonal parking regulations.
Public Transport
Take the DART First State bus to the Lewes Transit Center. From there, take a taxi or rideshare service (Uber or Lyft) to Queen Anne Pier, which is approximately 5 miles away. Taxi fares may vary depending on the time and demand. A taxi from Rehoboth Beach to Lewes Beach (similar distance) can cost around $35-$56. DART bus fare is $2 per trip, or $4 for a day pass.
