Car
From Fort Delaware State Park, exit the park and turn left onto Fort Dupont Highway (DE-9) heading north. Continue on DE-9 for about 7 miles. As you approach Wilmington, merge onto I-495 North towards Wilmington. Stay on I-495 for about 2 miles, then take exit 5B for I-95 North toward Philadelphia. Continue on I-95 North for approximately 3 miles. Take exit 6 for Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard, and follow the signs to Wilmington. After exiting, continue straight onto Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard. Turn left onto E 7th St. Fort Christina Park will be on your right at 1110 E 7th St, Wilmington, DE 19801.

From Fort Delaware State Park, you will need to take a taxi or rideshare service to the nearest public transit hub, which is the Wilmington Transit Center. This may incur additional costs (approximately $15-$25 depending on distance and service). Once at the Wilmington Transit Center, you can take the DART First State bus route 33 towards Wilmington. Get off at the stop on E 7th St, which is within walking distance to Fort Christina Park. The park is located at 1110 E 7th St, Wilmington, DE 19801, just a short walk from the bus stop.
