From most points in downtown Bethany Beach, the boardwalk is easily accessible on foot. Simply head east towards the ocean. Garfield Parkway leads directly to the boardwalk entrance at the lifeguard station. Sidewalks are available for a safe and pleasant walk.

The DART First State Beach Bus Route 208 serves Bethany Beach, with stops within walking distance of the boardwalk. Check the DART website for schedules and route information. The trolley is also free to ride and has multiple stops along the boardwalk. A single ride on the Beach Bus costs around $3.

If driving, be aware that parking in Bethany Beach can be challenging, especially during the summer. Public parking spaces are available, but fill up quickly.
