Getting There

  • Walking

    From downtown Lewes, such as the Zwaanendael Museum, Stango Park is a short walk north. Head north on Savannah Road, then turn left onto 3rd Street. The park will be on your left. The walk is approximately 0.3 miles and should take about 5-10 minutes. There are no costs associated with walking.

  • Public Transport

    From Cape Henlopen State Park, take the DART Route 204 bus towards Lewes. Disembark at the stop closest to 3rd Street. Walk west on Savannah Road for about 0.3 miles, then turn left onto 3rd Street. Stango Park will be on your left. The bus fare is approximately $2.00.

  • Car

    From the main entrance of Cape Henlopen State Park, head southeast on Cape Henlopen Drive towards Lewes. Turn left onto Route 1 (Coastal Highway) and continue to the intersection with Savannah Road. Turn right onto Savannah Road and then left onto 3rd Street. Stango Park will be on your left at 114 3rd St. There is no parking fee at Stango Park.
