From Second Street in downtown Lewes, walk southwest towards Shipcarpenter Street. Turn onto Shipcarpenter Street; the Lewes Historical Society Main Campus will be on your right, approximately a block down. The walk is short and easy, allowing you to enjoy the historic surroundings.

DART First State bus Route 204 serves the Lewes area. Get off at the stop near the intersection of Route 1 and Route 9. From there, it's approximately a 20-minute walk to the Lewes Historical Society Main Campus. Head east on Route 9, then turn left onto Shipcarpenter Street. The campus will be on your left. The bus fare is approximately $2.00.

From Route 1, take the exit for Route 9 East towards Lewes. After about 2 miles, turn left onto Shipcarpenter Street. The Lewes Historical Society Main Campus will be on your left at 110 Shipcarpenter Street. Metered parking is available on the street and in nearby lots for $1.50 per hour, in effect from May 1st to October 14th, 9 am to 8 pm.
