From Lums Pond State Park, exit the park and turn left onto Route 896 South. Continue on Route 896 for about 3 miles until you reach the intersection with Route 1. Merge onto Route 1 North towards Wilmington. After about 5 miles, take the exit for Route 7 North (Limestone Road). Follow Route 7 for approximately 10 miles, then turn right onto Creek Road. Auburn Valley State Park will be on your left at 3000 Creek Rd, Hockessin, DE 19707.

From Lums Pond State Park, you will need to take a taxi or rideshare service (Uber/Lyft) to the nearest public transportation hub, which is the Bear Transportation Center. From there, take the DART First State Bus Route 13 towards Wilmington. After about 30 minutes, get off at the intersection of Route 7 and Creek Road. From this stop, it is approximately a 10-minute walk to Auburn Valley State Park, which will be located at 3000 Creek Rd, Hockessin, DE 19707.
