    From Lums Pond State Park, exit the park and turn left onto State Route 896 S. Follow SR-896 S for approximately 10 miles until you reach the intersection with US-40. Merge onto US-40 W and continue for about 5 miles. Take the exit toward I-95 N/Wilmington. Merge onto I-95 N and continue for about 10 miles. Take exit 7A for US-202 S toward Wilmington. Continue on US-202 S for approximately 2 miles, then take the exit for I-495 S. After about 2 miles, take exit 5 for DE-9 S toward Wilmington. Follow DE-9 S, which becomes S Market St, until you reach the intersection with E 7th St. Turn left onto E 7th St, and Fort Christina Park will be on your right at 1110 E 7th St, Wilmington, DE 19801.

    From Lums Pond State Park, you will need to take a taxi or rideshare service to the nearest public transportation station. The closest station is the New Castle County Transit Center. From there, take the DART First State bus route 33 heading towards Wilmington. Get off at the 7th St & Market St stop. Walk east on E 7th St for about 0.2 miles, and you will arrive at Fort Christina Park located at 1110 E 7th St, Wilmington, DE 19801.
