Driving
From Tannersville, PA, follow Camelback Road. The entrance to Big Pocono State Park is located off Camelback Road. Be aware that Camelback Road has steep grades, and visitors should not attempt the drive with trailers. Parking is available in several lots within the park. Parking at Camelback Resort, near the entrance to the park, generally costs $12 and up.
Walking
If you are staying at Camelback Resort, you can walk to the entrance of Big Pocono State Park via Camelback Road. Exercise caution, as there are no sidewalks and the road can be busy with vehicle traffic. Once inside the park, the 1.4-mile paved road around the summit is easily walkable.
