If you're driving from White Clay Creek State Park, start by exiting the park and heading south on Route 896. Continue for approximately 2 miles until you reach the intersection with Route 72. Turn left onto Route 72 and continue for about 1.5 miles. Look for Sunset Lake Road on your right. Turn onto Sunset Lake Road, and the Pencader Heritage Museum will be on your right at 2029 Sunset Lake Rd #2629, Newark, DE 19702. Parking is available on-site.

Get off at the closest stop to Sunset Lake Road, which is approximately 0.5 miles from the museum. From there, walk south on Route 72 for about 0.5 miles, then turn onto Sunset Lake Road and continue for a short distance until you reach the Pencader Heritage Museum at 2029 Sunset Lake Rd #2629, Newark, DE 19702.
