From White Clay Creek State Park, exit the park and head south on Creek Road. Continue onto New London Road for about 1.5 miles. Drive towards the intersection with Route 896. Turn left onto Route 896 North. After approximately 2 miles, the Welcome to Delaware sign will be on your right side at the border between Pennsylvania and Delaware. There is no fee to view the sign, but parking may be limited.

To access public transportation from White Clay Creek State Park, you can walk to the nearest bus stop located on Route 896. Take the DART First State Bus Route 33 towards the Christiana Mall. Request a stop at the intersection with Route 896 North. From there, you will need to walk approximately 0.5 miles to the Welcome to Delaware sign. Please check the DART schedule for the latest timings and any associated fares, typically around $2 per ride.
