If you are starting from downtown Wilmington, head northeast on Market Street towards 3rd Street. Continue straight for about 0.5 miles until you reach the intersection with North Washington Street. Turn right onto North Washington Street and continue for another 0.3 miles. You will come to the intersection with Kentmere Parkway. Turn left onto Kentmere Parkway, and the Delaware Art Museum will be on your right at 2301 Kentmere Parkway. The entire walk should take about 20-25 minutes.

From the Wilmington Train Station, you can take the DART First State bus route 21. Board the bus heading towards the 'Kirkwood Highway' at the bus stop right outside the station. Stay on the bus for about 20 minutes and get off at the stop on Kentmere Parkway at the intersection with North Park Drive. From there, walk a short distance (about 5 minutes) down Kentmere Parkway, and the Delaware Art Museum will be on your left at 2301 Kentmere Parkway.
