From Østerbro, head west towards Østerbrogade. Once you reach Østerbrogade, turn left and continue walking until you reach the intersection with Langelinie. Cross over to Langelinie and continue straight. You will soon see the entrance to Kastellet on your right, just before you reach the water.

Catch bus number 1A from any bus stop along Østerbrogade heading towards Holmens Kirke. Get off at the stop called 'Kastellet'. From the bus stop, walk a short distance down the road, and you will find the entrance to Kastellet on your left.

Public Transport - Metro
Take the Metro M3 line from Østerbro station (Trekronergade) towards the central station (København H). Change at Kongens Nytorv station for the M2 line towards Lufthavnen. Get off at the next stop - Christianshavn. From there, it is about a 15-minute walk to Kastellet. Head north on Holmens Kanal, then turn right onto Bredgade, and follow it until you reach Kastellet.
