Train and walk
From Odense Station, walk through the central district to Jernbanegade; the journey on foot takes around 8–12 minutes on level, paved streets suitable for most mobility levels. Trains connect Odense with Copenhagen and other Danish cities several times an hour, with standard second-class tickets from Copenhagen typically ranging between 120 and 250 DKK one way depending on time and flexibility.
Local city bus
Several Odense city bus lines stop within a 5–10 minute walk of Jernbanegade, making it convenient if you are staying in residential districts around the city. Travel times are generally 10–20 minutes from outlying neighbourhoods, with single tickets usually costing around 24–30 DKK within the city zone. Buses run frequently during the day and early evening, but late-night services can be less frequent, especially on weekends.
Bicycle
Odense is one of Denmark’s most bike-friendly cities, and many visitors choose to cycle from their accommodation to the restaurant using the city’s dedicated bike lanes. From most central hotels the ride is 5–15 minutes, largely on flat terrain. If you rent a bike, expect to pay roughly 80–120 DKK per day from local rental outlets, and remember that you must park only in marked cycle stands along or near the pedestrian streets.
Taxi
Taxis are readily available at ranks near Odense Station and around the centre, and can drop you close to Jernbanegade, just outside the pedestrian zone. A typical ride from central hotels to the restaurant takes 5–10 minutes depending on traffic and usually costs in the region of 80–150 DKK, with higher fares at night and on weekends. Advance booking is recommended during busy dinner periods.
