Getting There

    From the center of Barahona, head west on Avenida 27 de Febrero. Continue straight on this road for about 4 kilometers until you reach the intersection with the Carretera Barahona-Pedernales (DR-44). Turn left onto DR-44. Follow this road for approximately 12 kilometers. Look for signs indicating Playa El Quemaito; you may need to turn right onto a smaller road leading to the beach. The entrance may have a small fee of around 100 Dominican Pesos for parking.
