Car
If you're driving from the Central Mountain Range, take the main road (Carretera Duarte) heading southeast towards La Romana. Continue on this road for approximately 1.5 to 2 hours, depending on traffic. As you approach La Romana, follow the signs to the city center. Once in La Romana, keep an eye out for C. Duarte. Duarte Central Park is located on this street, and there is typically street parking available nearby, though be prepared for potential parking fees.
Public Transportation
To reach Duarte Central Park by public transportation, find a local bus (carro público) heading towards La Romana from your location in the Central Mountain Range. These buses are frequent, and the fare is generally low, around 100 DOP (Dominican Pesos). Once you arrive in La Romana, you can either take a taxi or walk towards the city center. Duarte Central Park is located on C. Duarte, which is easily accessible on foot. Taxis may cost around 200-300 DOP for the short distance from the bus station to the park.
