From Higüey, head east on Calle Juan Pablo II towards the Autopista del Coral. Merge onto Autopista del Coral and continue for approximately 20 km. Take the exit towards El Limón (Route 104) and follow the signs. Continue onto Route 104 until you reach the beach area. Look for signs indicating Playa Las Canas. The last stretch may involve turning onto smaller local roads, so keep an eye on your GPS or maps for the exact location at 8J63+8X8 in El Limón.

From Higüey, head to the main bus terminal (Parque Central). Look for 'guaguas' (minibuses) heading towards El Limón. The fare is usually around 50-100 DOP (Dominican Pesos). Inform the driver that you are going to Playa Las Canas. The bus will drop you off at the nearest point to the beach, from where you may need to walk for about 10-15 minutes to reach the beach.
