If you're driving from Las Terrenas, take the main road (Carretera Las Terrenas - El Limón) towards El Limón. After about 20 minutes, you will reach a fork in the road; take the right path towards Salto El Limón. Continue straight for approximately 10 minutes until you reach the entrance to the trail. There is usually a small parking area, but it can fill up quickly, so arrive early.

To reach Salto El Limón via public transport, head to the main bus terminal in Las Terrenas. Look for a 'guagua' (local minibus) that is heading to El Limón. The ride takes about 30 minutes and costs around 50-100 Dominican Pesos. Once you arrive in El Limón, ask locals for directions to the waterfall. It is a short walk to the entrance where you can either hike down or pay for a horseback ride to the waterfall for about 500 Dominican Pesos.
