La Confluencia: A Natural Paradise in the Heart of Jarabacoa

Getting There

• Walking

  From the main square in Jarabacoa, head northeast on Avenida Juan Pablo Duarte. Continue straight for about 1 kilometer until you reach the intersection with Calle 1. Turn left onto Calle 1 and walk for approximately 300 meters. You will reach a path on your right that leads into Sendero Ecological. Follow this path for about 1.5 kilometers until you see the sign for La Confluencia. The total walking distance is around 2.8 kilometers, which should take about 35 to 40 minutes.

• Bicycle

  Rent a bicycle from one of the local shops in Jarabacoa. Start from the main square and cycle east on Avenida Juan Pablo Duarte for about 1 kilometer. At the intersection with Calle 1, turn left. After about 300 meters, look for a path on your right that leads into Sendero Ecological. Cycle along the path for approximately 1.5 kilometers to reach La Confluencia. The total cycling distance is about 2.8 kilometers, which should take around 15 to 20 minutes.

• Public Transportation (Motoconcho)

  Find a motoconcho (motorcycle taxi) near the main square in Jarabacoa. Tell the driver you want to go to La Confluencia. The ride will take you through a scenic route, and you should arrive in about 10 to 15 minutes, depending on traffic. Make sure to negotiate the fare before starting your trip.
