Getting There

  • Walking

    From the center of Jarabacoa, head towards the main road Avenida Juan Pablo Duarte. Walk along this road until you reach the intersection with Calle José María de la Altagracia. Turn left onto Calle José María de la Altagracia and continue walking straight until you reach the next major intersection. At the intersection, turn right onto Avenida La Confluencia. Follow this avenue as it curves until you reach the bus station (Parada de Autobuses) on your right. From here, take a local bus heading towards Manabao. Inform the driver you are going to Spirit Mountain (or 'Montaña Espiritual'). The bus will drop you off at a nearby stop from which you can walk to Spirit Mountain. Follow the signs or ask locals for the final directions to reach your destination.

  • Bicycle

    Start at the central park in Jarabacoa. Rent a bicycle from a local shop if you haven't already. Head towards Avenida Juan Pablo Duarte, cycling straight down this road. Continue until you arrive at the intersection with Calle José María de la Altagracia and turn left. Follow this street until the next major intersection, then turn right onto Avenida La Confluencia. Keep cycling on this avenue as it leads out of town and towards Manabao. Upon reaching Manabao, look for the bus station (Parada de Autobuses).
