The waterfall is approximately 10 kilometers ahead. Be aware that the road may be rough in some areas, so a vehicle with good suspension is recommended.

To reach Salto Alto via public transportation, start by taking a local 'carro público' (shared taxi) from Los Haitises to Bayaguana. This will cost around 100 DOP per person.
