If you are driving from the town of Sabana de la Mar, head northwest on the main road (Carretera 7) towards Los Haitises. After about 20 minutes, you will reach the entrance of Los Haitises National Park. Continue driving until you see the sign for Salto de Yanigua, located at XHC5+P38 del Rey. Park your car in the designated area, and prepare for a short hike to the waterfall.

From the main bus station in Santo Domingo, take a bus to Sabana de la Mar. The journey takes about 2-3 hours. Once you arrive in Sabana de la Mar, look for local motoconchos (motorcycle taxis) or shared taxis that can take you directly to Salto de Yanigua. Make sure to confirm the fare before starting your journey; it typically costs around 300-500 DOP.
