If you are starting from the Parque Colón (Colón Park), head east on Calle Arzobispo Meriño towards Calle Pedro A. Pérez. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Avenida George Washington. Cross the avenue and continue walking east for about 1.5 km. The Santo Domingo Obelisk will be visible on your left as you approach the Malecon area, specifically at F474+RCP on Avenida George Washington.
