If you are driving, start from the city of Cuenca. Head east on the E40 highway towards Girón. Continue on the E40 for about 30 km until you reach Girón. Once you arrive in Girón, look for signs pointing towards El Chorro del Girón. You may need to ask locals for directions as it is a popular tourist destination. The final stretch of the road may be unpaved, so drive carefully. There are no entrance fees to access the waterfall.
Public Transportation
To reach El Chorro del Girón by public transportation, take a bus from Cuenca to Girón. Buses leave from the main bus terminal in Cuenca and generally run every 30 minutes. The fare is approximately $1.50 and the journey takes about 45 minutes. Once in Girón, you can either walk or take a local taxi (which may cost around $5) to the waterfall. Make sure to ask the driver for the best drop-off point as the last part of the journey may require a short walk.
