If you are traveling by car from the Amazon region, start by heading towards the nearest major city with road connections to Guayaquil. Follow signs to the E25 highway, which will take you towards Guayaquil. Continue on E25 for approximately 4-5 hours, depending on your starting point. As you approach Guayaquil, take the exit toward Samborondón. Once in Samborondón, follow Av. Río Esmeraldas. The Guayaquil Historical Park will be on your left. Parking is available nearby but may incur a small fee.
Public Transportation
To reach Guayaquil Historical Park using public transportation, first take a bus from your location in the Amazon to the main bus terminal in Guayaquil. Companies like Expreso Baños and Transportes Ecuador offer services from various towns in the Amazon to Guayaquil. The bus ride may take several hours (typically around 6-8 hours). Once you arrive at the Guayaquil bus terminal, you can take a taxi or local bus towards Samborondón. If taking a taxi, ask the driver to take you to Av. Río Esmeraldas. The park is located at Av. Río Esmeraldas, Samborondón 092301. Taxi fares may vary, but expect to pay around $5-$10.
